Supporting Youth Through Music Education

We are the Ballard High School Band Boosters, dedicated to enhancing band education and inspiring students by engaging them in music, cultivating collaboration, accountability, and a strong sense of community involvement.

Ballard Band Boosters, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides critical financial and volunteer support to the Ballard High School (BHS) Band programs. Your generous donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

As the parent or guardian of a BHS band student, YOU are a BHS Band Booster! Welcome to our band community! The support of our parents is critical to the success of our program - we can't succeed without you. So we encourage you to connect with other parents and get involved. If you need help getting connected, reach out to a member of our Booster Board listed below.

However, the best way to make connections is to attend events! Check out the working band calendar to learn more. Also, if your child is in the competitive marching band (we HIGHLY encourage all band students to participate - it is so much fun and a wonderful learning opportunity), check out the competitive working band calendar.

What does the Booster Club do?

The booster club provides support to the band programs primarily through fundraising and fee collection, but also by providing volunteers (generally parents, family members, and alumni) for events and performances. You do not have to be an officer to get involved; we need and welcome all to help in whatever way works for you. Every little bit helps!

Find Events and Volunteer Opportunities

The easiest way to find out what's happening is to Check out the working band calendar. Additionally, our biggest fundraiser that really makes or breaks the program is running the concession stand for fall sports at Ballard High School. You do NOT need any experience as we will help you and train you. It is easy, fun, a great way to meet others, and critical to the continuation and success of our program.
